Vocaloid Masters

The most important person in producing vocaloid fan material is the owner of a vocaloid. People who use vocaloids to create songs are called 'producers', commonly shortened to P. When a vocaloid user becomes famous, he/she is given a 'P name' usually based on either the first song they made that became famous or their internet username. Most producers who already refer to themselves under a certain title are referred to by that title however.

A producer's P name takes the format of "name"+"P", for example, shinP, or rerereP. Producers who consistently produce popular songs become famous, and can also have fans. A producer who is famous for his/her songs by a certain vocaloid can also be refered to as a "Legendary (Vocaloid name) Master".

The title of 'producer', and abbreviation as 'P' at the end of a producer's name is taken from the popular Japanese idol game iDOLM@STER. The end user of a vocaloid is commonly referred to as the vocaloid's 'Master' (マスター).
