J-Pop Summit Festival 2011

ZANEEDS is gonna participate in J-POP SUMMIT Festival 2011 on 27th and 28th in August held in San Francisco, US. “TOKYO BEAT” (produced by ZANEEDS) is this year’s J-POP SUMMIT Festival theme song. We are making for a new CD (ZANEEDS #US) and two types of posters. The Leader, DJ Torinos (ZANEEDS) is gonna spin and speak about VOCALOID at some panel. About the Festival
It’s that time again when fans of Japanese music head to San Francisco for the J-POP SUMMIT FESTIVAL. Most Vocaloid fans will remember that last year at the Summit Festival was Hatsune Miku’s debut in America with the movie screening of the “Hatsune Miku 39′s Day Giving” concert, and this year the summit festival has decided to make Vocaloids another main attraction.
The composer and performing artist of this year’s J-POP SUMMIT Festival theme song “Tokyo Beat”. ZANEEDS is the VOCALOID creative team which produces the work of Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin and Megurine Luka. We have five crews; Music by ZANIO, Illustration by CHAN*CO, Design by PPRP, Movie by Ippai Attenya and Direction by Torinos. We are proposing VOCALOID as a new genre of electronic arts which originated from Japanese pop culture.Our music does not only sound as Anime or Video Game Music but also inspired by Acid Jazz, Deep House and Electronica.
